Patrick Galvin is a designer from Canberra who is know throughout the hardcore community for his work with I Exist, Deez Nuts, Phantoms and Break Even to name a small few. He has set up a blog to catalogue some of his work and it’s pretty top notch. Give it a suss here.

He is also in the works on starting something pretty rad with some friends and I for one am excited to see what comes out of it. Keep it up, Pat.

Death of Dignity

It’s finally happened. I died a little inside last week and start using two evils I thought I would never use. The first was Tumblr. I set up an account so I can quickly catalogue ideas for reference, inspiration, in progress snap shots and completed works. You can find it under the name Deceased Estates.

I really want to try and be more proactive this year on this blog and post some more stuff about my life and ideas. No one will probably give a shit, but I’ll still make an effort.

I am selling my medium sized 2009 Giant Reign X1 mountain bike. Bike is great order and has been professionally fully serviced at For The Riders on 30th of November 2010.

All parts are original except for the pedals which are Crank Brothers 5050xx.

Some minor cosmetic wear, but nothing structurally wrong or damaged with the bike.

I am selling my back up bass. I dropped my G&L Tribute L-2000 off at Tym Guitars on Sunday. If you are interested, go and have a look and give it a play in store.

The bass itself is incredible and a regrettable sale. Minor cosmetic damage, ie buckle rash on the back and small knock on the top horn (photo below). Used it for Apex Null for about a year, haven’t touch it for about 16 months and its been kept safely in a hardcase when not being played.

I set the price at $1,000AUD, but will negotiate for the right offer.

My All Pigs Must Die order showed up yesterday. So stoked on this print, yet another Florian piece to add to my collection and yet another order from Shirts & Destroy.

The order was part of a package on that Shirts & Destroy were offering. Aside from the print there was also a fold out poster, 2 colour screen printed patch, t-shirt and 12″ EP.

The vinyl is also being released on Shirts & Destroy’s record label, Nonbeliever and is there first release. The vinyl colour is awesome too.

Remember this post? This was when I got a second frame to build up. 329 days later I have finally put everything together and completed the build.

I am the slackest person alived for letting it take this long.

I have some pieces in the mail and still to purchase to finish off the revamping of my Brusier which should be finished before too long.
