I posted about this print a little while ago and said it sold out quite fast. I’m partly responsible.

I am starting to like giclee prints are little more these days. I generally don’t pay much attention to them because they are basically a glorified ink jet print and generally cost more than a screen print. I think there is something to be said for prints that have been designed and screen printed by hand.

But this print is testament to what giclee printing can achieve. When looking at the top of the print at the half circle, I actually had the run my hand across to see if the texture of the paint was actually there. I was fooled.

Another incredible piece by Thomas Hooper and another for the collection. Fuck you landlords, let me hang stuff on the walls.
