Combining #3 & #5

After 2 months of working of this idea in my free time, drawing designs, transferring images, carving, stabbing my finger, I have finally finished.

Since I started this idea, I have had an image of what I wanted the final product to look like. I am pleased with the outcome and it is extremely close to the version I have had in my head for some time.

This one was done on transfer paper with one print on either side.

I only did this one one transfer paper just to see how it it would turn out. If I can find some transfer paper without a glossy film, I might consider doing this again.

This is more what I am after. Print #3 first, let it dry then print #5 over the top.

Printed on to paper I pulled out of a sketch book. 110gsm cartridge paper I think. Turned out great. Only thing I look at wishing was a little better is that I put more ink on #5 before printing. Other than that, amazing and extremely satisfied.

I have some ideas on what to do next. I feel it is going to be an expansion of what designs and carving techniques I have been using, But as always, time and patience is needed.
