No Cassettes - Mixtape: Vol I
Sorry for the onslaught of “Bike” related posts lately but this one is good.
Not even a week ago, I bought a copy of No Cassettes. A new freestyle fixed gear DVD from San Francisco and other West Coast US places.
I think I’m up to my 5th time watching it since Sunday morning. The footage and ability of the riders is amazing. After watching it for the first time, I wanted to grab my bike and go outside. And promptly did.
The thing is with most DVDs of this nature, fixed, bmx, skate, whatever, I tend to get bored fast and only watch it once and then it sits there for a year before it gets thought of again. But there is something about No Cassettes that makes me want to re-watch it over and over. For one, it could be that there is a good mix of tricks, freestyle, riding around and goofing around. With some DVDs/videos there is too much of one thing and it just gets tiring to watch.
I am excited to see what so going to come out next from Fonseca Films and these riders. Top Effort.
Available at Gear.
