  • Final

This Saturday will be my last show with Apex Null. After being in the band for 2 years (replacing original bassist Sam) I have decide to leave do to personal reasons with no ill intent.
Over the past 2 years, I have watched the band progress with songs, structure and ability. With that, my ability as [...]

  • Happy Moon Landing Day

Today marks the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11 landing on the surface of the moon and walking on it.
It is funny though, just the other day one of my housemates was watching Mythbusters episodes he has on his computer and one was an Apollo 11 special (s06e03 if you want to track it down). [...]

  • SEA MONSTERS!

Latest pedal build, a BYOC Overdrive II.
If you decide to look into the build a little further (I doubt you will, no one really cares), I chose to build the pedal using the “Standard” specs.

Sounds awesome too. Real nice tube driven sound. Imagine the start [...]

  • Marathon’s First Show

All I can say is “FFAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRKKKK”. It went off perfectly (my mind anyway). We played our 20 or minute set first up. By the time we finished I was quite haggard. I haven’t played like that in a long time. We used two guitar cabs and 2 bass cabs also, which was incredible. I just [...]

  • Woodblock Attempt No. 2 Prologue

The last one took me months to complete because I am a slack piece of shit.
No idea how long this will take. I am going to using proper carving hand tools, better quality wood and cleaner way of applying the image for this one also.
    We’ll see what happens.

  • Marathon of Stencils

I have been cutting a couple of different size stencils for one of my bands (Marathon) recently.
These one is for the demo cd’s. I did two sizes because I wasn’t saw what the other guys would like.
Matty asked if I could do one for his 22″ (56cm) kick drum. Epic. Note: sunglasses for reference.
    Photos of [...]
