Inspired

A Tale of Terror - Rachi Brains I received my copy of “A Tale of Terror” by Brisbane tattooist Rachi Brains yesterday, which is a collection of sketches and designs she as done over the last few years for clients and personal projects.

Some of the work amazed me. I have been a fan of her designs for years and have been tattooed by her also. When I started looking through the sketch book, I started to just want to draw. Didn’t matter what, I just wanted my sketch book and not to be at work.

When a got home from work, I went looking for my sketch pad and started to draw up an idea I have had for a tattoo for some time. I think it turned out okay, just missing a few things that I don’t feel confident in attempting just yet.

Globe Tattoo Idea

The banner is going to read “ONCE NOURISHED” eventually. And I’m hoping I can fill in some detail on the globe itself and the stand a little more. We’ll see.

I was wondering if you would be at all interested in selling the Rachi Brains “A Tale of Terror” sketchbook. From reading your post, I understand what an inspiration it is for you. However, after much searching this is the only option I have found to possibly getting ahold of a copy myself. It is a shot in the dark, but message me if you are interested.
